Key Responsibilities

Data Platform Design & Implementation

• Partner with source data application teams and product owners to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and expose data for analytics and reporting.
• Implement end‑to‑end data solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and related Azure services.
• Develop and manage both batch and streaming pipelines, ensuring high reliability, low latency, and scalability.
• Apply cloud‑native design patterns—such as micro‑services, containerization, and serverless architectures—to improve system resilience.

DevOps & Automation

• Own the CI/CD lifecycle for data engineering code using GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of data pipelines to reduce manual effort and increase release velocity.
• Collaborate with the broader DevOps team to enforce coding standards, security policies, and operational excellence.

Data Quality, Governance & Security

Essential Qualifications
