Customer Service Professional - Phone, Chat, Email

Who We Are: We are an educational website for children from elementary to high school seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team! This position includes customer service functions such as online live chat, answering emails and phone calls, and responding to customers on social media. As a remote worker, you will need to be independent and self-motivated, holding... yourself accountable for tasks and ongoing responsibilities with little supervision. Who You Are: The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, a quick learner, and have problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially written, as well as reliable high-speed internet and a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute. We're in need of individuals who shine in customer phone interactions! Your role will frequently involve meaningful phone conversations with parents, and on some days, you might find yourself working on the phone for the majority of your shift. We are looking for someone proactive, trustworthy, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to handle difficult customer situations and turn a negative experience into a positive one. You should be skilled in communication and able to work well with the internal organization (team) and external customers. In addition to customer service, this position offers many opportunities for growth in other areas of the company. This is a full-time position, offering a pay rate of $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, with paid time off and the ability to work from home. This is a fully remote position, however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States. Schedule: Open schedules include Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Pacific (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Eastern) and weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Eastern). Revolving evenings, nights, and weekends availability is needed due to increase of staffed hours.
