The Role: As a Full-Time Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll be the go-to person for helping students with diverse learning needs thrive in a virtual classroom. You'll get to create and deliver tailored lesson plans, work closely with students, and collaborate with families and school staff—all from the comfort of your home office. What You’ll Do: • Teach and Inspire: Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans that cater to students’ unique learning needs. • Assess and Adapt: Evaluate students' progress and adjust teaching strategies to make sure they’re getting the most out of their education. • Support and Collaborate: Work with students, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment and address any challenges that come up. • Keep Records: Maintain up-to-date records on student progress, assessments, and communications. What We’re Looking For: • Education: Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. • Certification: Current Special Education teaching license in Indiana. • Experience: 2 years of experience teaching special education students, ideally in a remote or virtual setting. • Skills: Great communication skills, a knack for organization, and a passion for making learning accessible and fun. • Attributes: Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and ready to create a positive and engaging virtual classroom experience.
