Responsibilities

Create and Implement IEPs: Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring their educational goals are met. Deliver Specialized Math Instruction: Provide individualized math instruction that aligns with students' learning requirements and helps them excel. Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with general education teachers to adapt and modify the curriculum, ensuring it is accessible for all students. Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular communication with parents and staff to keep them informed about student progress and any necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

Teaching License: Hold a valid New Mexico teaching license with a Special Education endorsement. Math Endorsement: Possess a Math endorsement or equivalent qualifications. Relevant Experience: Have experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in K-12 settings. Math Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of math curriculum and effective instructional strategies. Tech Savvy: Be familiar with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools. Remote Work Skills: Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
