As a SQL Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights for our organization. This position requires a deep understanding of SQL, database management, automation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality data analyses. Responsibilities: Data Extraction and Transformation: • Develop and optimize SQL queries to import, extract and transform data from various sources. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough cleansing and preprocessing. Database Management: • Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and performance tuning of databases. • Collaborate with database administrators to ensure data security and compliance. Query Optimization: • Fine-tune and optimize SQL queries to enhance overall database performance and quality. • Identify and implement improvements in data retrieval and hygiene processes. • Write queries and stored procedures to maintain large-scale automation. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SQL-based role. • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (or equivalent) and database management systems. • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc...) • Experience with Python or R. • Working knowledge of APIs.
