Special Educator - Remote | WFH

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher with a Math endorsement to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students with special needs. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing specialized instruction and support to students in a New Mexico school district. Key Responsibilities... Create and Implement IEPs: Develop and tailor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with special needs. Specialized Math Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective math instruction designed to accommodate each student's learning requirements. Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with general education teachers to ensure that the curriculum is accessible and appropriately modified for all students. Engage with Parents and Staff: Maintain regular communication with parents and school staff to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

Valid Teaching License: Hold a current New Mexico teaching license with a Special Education endorsement. Math Endorsement: Possess a Math endorsement or equivalent qualifications. Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in K-12 settings. Math Expertise: Strong understanding of math curriculum and effective instructional strategies. Assistive Technology: Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools. Remote Work Skills: Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, managing responsibilities independently.
