About this role: The Technology Support Analyst will be responsible for building and extending evolving continuous delivery technology platforms with the goal of moving changes to production faster and safer, while ensuring operational best practices are supported. He/She will also be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining production systems, including release management, automation, system maintenance, and configuration and use of source code management systems and code build systems. The Technology Support Analyst provides users with support services for corporate standard technology products. He/She provides hardware and software planning, technical advice, and informal training to customers. This position organizes and coordinates activities for installing, deploying, and upgrading software, hardware, and network facilities. The Technology Support Analyst troubleshoots and restores routine technical service and resolves equipment problems using established processes and procedures. He/She collaborates with Information Technology (I.T.) staff to deploy standardized support practices and procedures. This position coordinates implementations and facilitates activities to support programs and projects. The individual must be willing to support UPS.com on a 24/7 rotating support basis. UPS.com is supported on site from 9:00a.m. 9:00p.m. EST and remotely by cell phone from 9:00p.m. 9:00a.m. EST. Minimum Qualifications: Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365 (including Excel) Knowledge of Linux OS Familiarity with DevOps Technical Knowledge of Hardware and Software Technical Analyst Troubleshooting skills Documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work for a Fortune 50 industry leader.
