We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students develop the skills necessary for success in the school environment. Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. • Valid California Occupational Therapist License. • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to occupational therapy services in schools. • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting. • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, parents, and school staff. • Ability to pass a background check and meet all local and state requirements. Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall ability to perform daily school tasks. • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve students' functional abilities in the classroom setting. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the integration of occupational therapy strategies into the learning environment. • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to achieve goals. • Provide training and resources to school staff on adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and other strategies to support student success. • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
