Apply via Dice today! • Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable web applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes... • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. • Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, implementing appropriate logging, alerting, and incident response strategies. • Optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and high performance. • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into cloud architecture solutions. • Manage and configure Google Cloud Platform services including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. • Ensure robust security practices are followed, including network security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, performance, and infrastructure. • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve development and operational workflows. Qualifications: • Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong background in managing web applications on Google Cloud Platform. • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure services and tools on Google Cloud Platform. • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build. • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Preferred Skills: • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus. • Experience with serverless computing (e.g., Google Cloud Functions) and API management. • Understanding of network and security best practices in a cloud environment. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, or ELK stack.
