These customers need tools that help them get the most from their advertising dollar in the least time. As a Principal Product Manager - Technical on the Reporting User Experience team you will own the end-to-end product experience including defining the product strategy, product roadmap, and gain a deep understanding of your customer and business landscape. Your contributions will directly lead to new ad products, innovative new experiences, and faster execution for engineering teams. The Measurement and Data Science (MADS) Reporting User Experience team is responsible for the software that hundreds of thousands of advertisers use to manage their advertising strategies on Amazon. These tools are also a fast evolving fabric that enable rapid development by teams across Ads. You will collaborate closely with our product and technology leaders, and independently influence the long-term product strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs and technologies. As a single-threaded product owner and subject matter expert, you will also gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end product architecture and bring the knowledge of our systems to bear as you find ways to incorporate new advertising customer and partner requirements into the product experience. In addition to being responsible for the P&L of this line of business, the Principal PMT is responsible for high-level delivery goals, business reporting to the SVP level, and creating a bold vision for how Amazon Ads meets users where they are and guides them through the next stages of their growth. Key job responsibilities Because this role runs a direct business, supports end users, and delivers tools to developers, its stakeholder base is diverse; great candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and that special ability to speak to the long-term vision while laying out the stepping stones that lead to incremental success and growth.They enjoy in diving deep, understanding the technical details, and take pride in solving customer problems.
