### Job Description
As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring passenger safety. Your primary responsibilities will include attending preflight briefings, conducting preflight inspections, assisting passengers, demonstrating emergency equipment and procedures, and providing food and beverage services.
### Key Responsibilities
– Attend preflight briefings and study all details about the flight.
– Ensure that safety and emergency equipment are present and working.
– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and help with luggage storage.
– Deliver in-flight services such as meals and beverages, and sell onboard duty-free items.
– Demonstrate the use of emergency equipment and ensure passengers comply with safety guidelines.
– Address passengers inquiries, provide assistance, and handle potential disturbances.
– Conduct post-flight duties, including cabin checks and inventory management.
### Qualifications and Experience
– High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
– Previous customer service experience (highly preferred).
– Ability to meet physical requirements necessary, such as reaching overhead bins and standing for up to four hours.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Multilingual abilities are an asset but not required.
### Requirements
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Ability to work legally in the United States.
– Possess a valid passport or equivalent travel documents.
– Willingness and ability to fly both domestic and international routes.
– Completion of a background check and drug screening.
