Job Summary:
Were currently looking for a responsible, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as a FedEx Ground Delivery Specialist on a part-time basis. As a key member of FedEx, a leading logistics provider in the United States, you will be working for up to 4 hours daily, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of packages to customers.
Description:
As a FedEx Ground Delivery Specialist, your role will involve delivering packages by driving a FedEx vehicle within the local/regional area. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time, in an efficient manner, and with an exceptional level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles
– Timely and accurate delivery of packages to customers
– Maintain professional and effective customer interactions
– Adhere to all company policies and procedures
– Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift
– Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
– Must have a valid driver’s license
– Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs)
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
– Must have excellent communication skills
– Must have a clean driving record
Education Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Experience:
Previous experience in a delivery role or a customer service environment will be advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive paid training will be provided.
