Job Summary:

Job Description:

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Your role will involve securing premises and personnel by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. You will be pivotal in preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities and restraining trespassers.

Responsibilities:

1. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitor surveillance equipment; inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

2. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.

3. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

4. Maintain the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

5. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. A valid state-issued security guard license

3. Proven work experience as a security guard or a similar role

4. Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

5. Familiarity with report writing

6. Excellent surveillance and observation skills

7. Ability to carry out instructions orally and in written form
