Job Description

As a vital part of United Airlines’ team, our Cabin Crew members are the face of the airline and key to providing exceptional service and ensuring our passengers have a pleasant flight. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive paid training to gain knowledge of safety procedures and customer service protocols.

Responsibilities

– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and ready for boarding.

– Assist passengers with boarding and provide a warm, welcoming environment.

– Demonstrate safety procedures and equipment use to passengers.

– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks; sell onboard duty-free items.

– Address passengers’ questions and concerns courteously and promptly.

– Administer and coordinate emergency medical care as needed.

– Ensure compliance with all aviation rules and regulations.

– Manage in-flight sales and maintain a sales record.

– Prepare detailed flight reports post-journey.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years.

– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.

– Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

– Must be able to relocate or commute to allocated base locations.

– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

– Capacity to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.

– Height must be proportionate to weight, and physical condition should allow for use of emergency equipment.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Educational Qualifications

– High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

– Higher education or certifications in hospitality, customer service, or aviation is a plus.

Experience

– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is preferred but not mandatory.

– Experience in handling emergencies or first aid will be considered an advantage.
