Job Summary:

Job Description:

As a CDL A Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck. The job involves delivering freight and assist in loading and unloading cargo. You will also need to maintain accurate logs of deliveries and adhere to all safety procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.

Responsibilities:

1. Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle in all types of weather conditions.

2. Loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that load is secure.

3. Accurate completion of delivery documents and adherence to reporting procedures.

4. Compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding vehicle operation and safety.

5. Regular vehicle inspections and reporting of any maintenance issues.

6. Excellent customer service skills and professional conduct at all times.

Requirements:

1. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement.

2. Must have a good driving record.

3. The ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and carrying heavy items.

4. Strong knowledge of road safety and driving laws.

5. Good time management and organizational skills.

6. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

Educational Qualification:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience with commercial driving, preferably in a tanker truck.
