Although living in Virginia isn't required, you must have a valid teaching license for both your state of residence and the state of employment. Responsibilities: • Provide engaging and individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style • Create and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel • Record and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed • Give regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance and behavioral progress • Work closely with other educators, therapists, and specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s education • Promote a positive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred • Current teaching license or equivalent certification in Special Education for the state of Virginia • Minimum of two years of past experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom or remote setting • Understanding of remote teaching platforms and educational technology • Capacity to create and adapt instructional materials for online learning • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail To apply, please forward your resume to [email protected] Apply Job!
