Remote Instructor for Blueprint Reading | WFH

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Blueprint Reading Instructor to join our remote teaching team. In this role, you will inspire and educate high school students (grades 10-12) enrolled in an Industrial Welding Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Your expertise will equip these aspiring welders with essential skills and knowledge crucial for their future career paths... Key Responsibilities • Deliver an engaging and student-focused curriculum that covers essential theories and practices of blueprint reading in a manufacturing context. • Provide constructive feedback on student assignments and foster an inclusive classroom environment. • Utilize educational technology to enhance the learning experience and integrate innovative teaching methods. • Motivate students to achieve success by accommodating diverse learning styles and employing best teaching practices. • Maintain accurate records including attendance and timesheets, while collaborating with the Apprenticeships & School-to-Work team on necessary documentation. Required Skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Passion for education with an ability to connect with a diverse student body. • Proficiency in instructional technology and innovative teaching methodologies. Qualifications • Required: Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience. • Preferred: Experience in teaching or training, especially in a high school environment, along with background in skilled trades.
