Job description Remote Coding Instructor for Kids - Scratch, python, MIT APP Builder... Please make sure to answer ALL QUESTIONS. Who are we looking for? • Has at least 1 year of coding experience. • At least a Bachelor's Degree in elementary education, computer science, or a related field. • Must be able to pass a background check • Hours we need teachers: 4 AM - 10 AM EST Monday - Friday, 7 PM - 2 AM EST Monday - Friday, or almost any time on the weekends. • Teachers will need to be available for at least 15 weeks with minimal to no interruptions in teaching. What would make you stand out from the crowd? • Teacher certification preferred • Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, and other experiences) is preferred. Just graduated college? We'll accept that, too! • Remote teaching experience preferred but not required. • Experience using MIT App Inventor - https://appinventor.mit.edu/ What do we provide to you? • Flexibility in scheduling - We work around your schedule! • Base salary is 15 per hour with bonuses. • Lessons provided Teachers with class over can expect less than 10 hours during their first month of employment. As good reviews come in, teachers can expect more classes assigned to them. Technological requirements: • Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS • Speed requirements: • Upload - 500 kpbs • Download - 1300 kpbs • Speed test: https://www.speedtest.net/ Required equipment: • Computer or laptop.
