Job Overview We are in search of a compassionate and committed Remote Customer Service Representative to strengthen our team. In this pivotal role, you will assist patients in navigating their healthcare billing, ensuring they receive outstanding service and support with their payment arrangements. You will engage with patients via phone in a dynamic environment, addressing account inquiries and... aiding them in making timely payments. Key Responsibilities • Deliver exemplary service to patients, embodying the organization’s values and mission. • Engage with patients through outbound calls to facilitate the payment process for medical bills. • Maintain clear, professional, and empathetic communication with patients, guiding them through payment procedures. • Diligently review patient accounts and accurately document all interactions. • Negotiate fair payment plans tailored to individual patient circumstances. • Assist patients in establishing payments through various methods, including checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers. • Comply with company policies and procedures to provide a seamless experience for our patients. • Achieve or surpass designated performance objectives and targets. • Collaborate closely with team leaders and management to resolve challenges and enhance patient satisfaction. • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to promote team success and patient contentment. Required Skills • A strong commitment to customer service and client satisfaction. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all professional interactions. • Team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in collaboration with others. • Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to swiftly learn new software applications. Qualifications • Prior experience in customer service is preferred. • Experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management is advantageous. • High school diploma or GED is required. • Some college coursework is preferred, but not obligatory.
