Day to day as a Route Driver As a new Route Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you can expect an exhilarating routine that keeps you on your toes! Your day will kick off early, as you prepare your delivery truck, ensuring it's stocked with our refreshing products and ready to hit the road. Each day from Monday to Friday brings a variety of delivery stops, allowing you to engage with customers and showcase your exceptional service skills. You'll navigate through dynamic routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and efficiency. What you need to be successful To excel as a Route Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll need a unique blend of skills and qualifications. A valid Commercial Driver's License is essential to hit the road confidently, ensuring you comply with all safety regulations. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: • Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License. • Satisfactory completion of Motor Vehicle Check required according to the Vehicle Safety Policy. • Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. • Requires written and organization skills to complete paperwork in a decipherable manner. • Requires strong communication skills. • Requires basic math skills for invoicing.
