Production Operator - Entry Level - (Lewiston)

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Can • Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs. • Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment. • Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned. • Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery and workstations which provide the opportunity to quickly gain skills, learn and promote. • Assist with mill clean-up. Most employees are quickly promoted from this role into something more advanced and specialized. • Maintain acceptable production levels. • Other duties as needed. To Be Considered You Will Need The Ability To • Work various shifts, days, and overtime as needed • $2/hr shift differential for qualified night and weekend shifts • Overtime pays at time and a half! • Use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose • Adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial environment! • Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check What Will Put You Over The Top • A high school diploma or GED The Physical Demands Of This Job Include Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distance, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
