We are currently looking for a Subject Matter Expert / Teacher in Amateur Radio and Wireless Communication to create lessons and activities for middle and high school students. Your expertise will help introduce foundational concepts in radio communication to inspire the next generation of innovators in wireless technology. Role Overview: As a Subject Matter Expert in Amateur Radio/Wireless Communication, you will design educational materials to teach students about the principles and practices of radio communication. Your role will be to author lessons, interactive activities, and real-world projects that make radio and wireless communication accessible, engaging, and relevant for students at the middle and high school levels. Key Responsibilities: • Develop lesson plans, activities, and projects to teach the fundamentals of amateur radio and wireless communication. • Create content that aligns with educational standards and meets learning objectives for middle and high school students. • Design interactive, hands-on activities that encourage practical understanding and application of radio communication concepts. • Work closely with instructional designers and curriculum developers to ensure content is accessible and engaging for diverse student audiences. • Integrate principles of educational pedagogy, scaffolding, and inquiry-based learning into your content. • Stay informed about recent trends and advancements in radio and wireless technology. Qualifications: • Expertise in Amateur Radio, wireless communication, or a related field, with practical experience. • Proven experience teaching, tutoring, or creating educational materials on radio communication or technology-related subjects. • Knowledge of educational standards and familiarity with middle and high school curriculum requirements. • Strong understanding of pedagogy, lesson creation, and instructional design principles. • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is clear and engaging for young learners. • Experience working with instructional design teams and collaborating on educational projects is a plus. • A passion for educating and inspiring students in the field of radio and wireless communication.
