Our Corporate Headquarters located in Boca Raton, Florida is looking to hire a Mortgage Loan Originator. This position is not remote. This position will educate, advise, and guide potential borrowers through the loan application process. Review and process loan applications, approve or disapprove loans within established limits by performing the following duties: Responsibilities • Provides applicants with information regarding the loan application process , • Counsels customers with respect to credit needs , • Obtains complete loan application including all support documentation needed to process the loan , • Pre-qualifies potential loan applicants by analyzing financial background , • Analyzes applicants financial situation and hunts for possible loan solutions , • Follows up on processing the loan by obtaining additional applicant information if necessary , • Maintains communications between the lender and borrower , • Establishes rate with borrower verbally and in writing prior to settlement , • Explains legal aspects of the loan to the borrower along with payment terms and conditions , • Understands and supports the corporations policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all of the corporations customers , • Resolves any customer problems in an expeditious and tactful manner , • Reviews and reports complaints received from customers and recommends corrective action to management , • Advanced knowledge of FHA VA and Conventional Guidelines , • Builds relationships with builders and realtors in the financial industry , • Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements • Bilingual English and Spanish required , • At least 3 years prior sales experience required , • NMLS Active license is required , • Encompass 360 Required Nice-to-haves • Budgeting , • Oral and written communication skills , • Customer relations and customer service , • Math aptitude , • Negotiations , • Professionalism , • Time management Benefits • Medical Plan , • Dental Plan , • Vision Plan , • GAP Insurance , • Life Insurance paid by the company , • Voluntary Life Insurance , • 401K , • Pet Insurance , • Legal Shield , • ID Shield Apply Job!
