We are currently seeking a part-time Medical Bill and Lien Verification Clerk to join our team. This position primarily involves verifying the extent of medical bills and health insurance liens related to settlements. The role can be performed mostly remotely, providing flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service. As a Medical Bill and Lien Verification Clerk, you will be responsible for making calls to healthcare facilities, insurers, and subrogation companies to obtain necessary billing and lien information. This role requires a keen attention to detail and accuracy, as the information gathered is crucial for the settlement process. You will work closely with our legal team to ensure that all medical billing and lien information is verified and documented correctly. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, allowing them to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will be expected to work effectively in a team environment while also being able to manage your responsibilities independently. Proficiency in using office software applications is essential for this role, as you will be entering and managing data related to medical bills and liens. Responsibilities • Make calls to healthcare facilities to obtain billing information. , • Contact insurers to verify health insurance liens. , • Communicate with subrogation companies for lien information. , • Document and maintain accurate records of all billing and lien information.
