Accountant For Medical Billing - Contract to Hire

About Us: Cornerstone Youth Collective (CYC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing foundational community support services. We are seeking a Financial & Grants Manager who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in financial management, social work billing, and grant writing. Key Responsibilities: • Billing & Compliance • Manage ProviderOne billing for Medicaid-related services in Washington. • Ensure compliance with Washington Labor & Industries (L&I) filing requirements. • Oversee and maintain accurate documentation of billing processes. • Payroll & Financial Management • Process payroll using Gusto, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees. • Manage financial records, track expenses, and oversee budgeting. • Monitor organizational spending and ensure financial sustainability. • Grant Writing & Management • Identify, write, and submit grant applications to secure funding. • Maintain grant compliance and reporting requirements. • Track funding opportunities and manage grant deadlines. • General Accounting & Reporting • Maintain and reconcile financial records. • Prepare reports for leadership and funding agencies. • Ensure financial transparency and best practices. Qualifications: ? Experience with ProviderOne billing (required). ? Familiarity with Gusto payroll processing (preferred). ? Knowledge of Washington State L&I filings and compliance (required). ? Strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and nonprofit financial management. ? Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising. ?
