Description AR/AP Specialist: $20-$23/hour Job Summary: Mercurys Coffee Co. is seeking an eager Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our evolving Financial Team. This role will manage daily accounting tasks, while assisting in the development of our accounting priorities. Essential Job Duties: • Full cycle AR/AP, including preparation of monthly invoices. • Maintain financial document retention files. • Assist Financial Team with monthly closing and forecasting. • Validates financial transactions by auditing documents regularly. • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. PM21 LOCATION: WA, Bellevue CATEGORY: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Skills: • Familiar with GAAP, and general accounting policies and procedures. • Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Suite • Hands on experience with financial reports and building spreadsheets • Team player with positive attitude, accountability and responsibility Experience & Education: • Minimum 2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience • Experience in a fast-paced environment • Experience in retail or restaurant industry a plus • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field a plus SHIFT: Days FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: EOE STATEMENT: Mercurys Coffee Co. is an equal opportunity employer to all employees and applicants.
