About the position Cognizant is seeking a Principal Product Consultant specializing in Duck Creek solutions. This role is pivotal in redefining clients' business, operating, and technology models for the digital era. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Duck Creek architecture and demonstrate strong leadership abilities. The position requires working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, where the consultant will act as a liaison between business and IT, understanding business problems and proposing technical solutions using Duck Creek expertise. The role is primarily remote, but travel may be required based on project needs. The consultant will collaborate with large implementation teams and engage directly with clients to address their business challenges effectively. The responsibilities include architecting technical solutions for Duck Creek Policy, utilizing tools such as Duck Creek Manuscripts, inheritance modeling, and SQL database queries. The candidate should have extensive experience (12-16 years) in Duck Creek Policy configuration, integration, and implementation, along with knowledge of external billing and claims integrations. Familiarity with key policy-related tools like DC Insights, Channel Connect, and Turnstile is desired. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role, as the consultant will be responsible for delivering medium to large Duck Creek implementation programs while ensuring alignment with P&C domain knowledge. Responsibilities • Architect technical solutions for Duck Creek Policy. , • Utilize Duck Creek Manuscripts and inheritance modeling. , • Perform environment configurations and XSLT transforms. , • Execute SQL database queries and procedures. , • Implement JavaScript, .NET, and C# solutions. , • Deliver medium to large Duck Creek implementation programs. , • Integrate Duck Creek Policy with external billing and claims systems. , • Work with key policy-related tools such as DC Insights, Channel Connect, and Turnstile. , • Communicate effectively with clients to understand business problems and propose solutions. Requirements • 11+ years of experience in C# and .NET development. , • Strong SQL skills for database queries and procedures. , • Proficiency in JavaScript and XSLT. , • In-depth knowledge of Duck Creek architecture and solutions. , • Experience in Duck Creek Policy configuration and implementation (12-16 years). , • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. , • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Nice-to-haves • Experience with DC Producer is desired. , • Familiarity with external (non-DC) Billing and Claims integrations. , • Experience in delivering Duck Creek implementation programs.
