Manager, Social Media (Freeform) Job Summary: Freeform's Social Marketing team is seeking a Manager, Social Media to join our team. As a Manager, you will lead efforts for Freeform originals and branded stunts, working closely with the Marketing, Publicity and Creative departments. You will also work with partners across The Walt Disney Company on synergy outreach and promotion for Freeform originals and stunts. This role requires someone with ample social experience in the entertainment industry and a proven track record for delivering results on large scale social media campaigns. The successful candidate will be open and flexible, collaborative, and always be striving to go above and beyond what is expected. Responsibilities • Work with Senior Manager and VP of Social to ideate and execute first-in-class social and digital marketing campaigns for Freeform original series and branded stunt campaigns, driving high levels of digital engagement and keeping Freeform at the forefront of innovation. • Lead creator and influencer content activations that amplify the reach and awareness of Freeform's original series and branded stunts across digital platforms. • Partner with paid media team to execute on digital creative and paid campaigns. • Collaborate with Ad Sales to ideate sponsorable social media opportunities. • Coordinate with partners across Disney Entertainment Television and the broader Walt Disney Company on digital and general synergy activations supporting Freeform titles and stunts. • Stay on top of trends, timely events, and cultural moments to be able to activate on for series and stunt campaigns. • Support Senior Manager on tracking and monitoring campaign budgets and invoicing. • Spearhead social media companion series, including but not limited to after-shows, cultural moments, talent shoots and more by partnering with short-form production, programming, and internal creative directors. • Capture social media content at red carpet events, photo shoots, talent press tours and appropriate events. • Collaborate with social platform contacts and maintain strong relationships with key players such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube and more. • Work across multiple teams within the larger Freeform org for assets, launch dates, talent opportunities and any other relevant information needed across campaigns. • Partner with external agencies as needed for creative, posting and community management tactics. • Dive deep into social analytics and use metrics to inform content strategy in real time, sharing key analytics & learnings with leadership & stakeholders. • Overall, act as a cross-functional teammate who engages, listens and collaborates with internal teams throughout campaigns. Basic Qualifications • 5+ years of professional experience in social media and/or digital marketing at a network or studio. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful large-scale campaigns/initiatives using data and metrics to measure impact and determine necessary pivots. • Passion for social media and deep knowledge of how to leverage each platform to drive KPIs. • Strong written and verbal skills, excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong creative instincts and judgment. • Experience managing external agencies/partners/talent without oversight. • Ability to work well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams across various departments. • Experience presenting campaigns and delivering results to external talent and stakeholders as well as internal c-suite executives. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $91,900 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
