Responsibilities • Conduct investigations into financial crimes including tax fraud and public corruption. , • Utilize accounting skills to analyze complex financial records and transactions. , • Testify as a government witness in court cases. , • Assist U.S. attorneys in preparing cases for trial. , • Conduct surveillance and undercover operations as needed. , • Evaluate and recommend actions based on gathered information to identify noncompliance. , • Possibly serve as a team leader or expert consultant in investigations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with accounting coursework or relevant criminal investigative experience. , • Ability to analyze and evaluate evidence and draw sound conclusions. , • Experience in conducting interviews and assembling facts through investigative techniques. , • Strong oral and written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
