Cashier (AM & PM)

includes 7am-2pm & 2pm-10pm shifts • Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. *Responsibilities* - Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. - Provide product demonstrations and assist customers with inquiries about products. - Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. - Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. - Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. - Exhibit proper phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. - Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and change giving. - Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed. *Experience* - Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred but not required. - Retail sales experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to engage with customers effectively. - Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base. - Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members. - A keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important traits for success in this role.
