Sr. Account Executive, Canvas Credentials

Instructure is looking for an experienced account executive to join our growing higher education sales team.

What you will be doing

  • Sell Canvas Credentials to higher education institutions in the Midwest Territory (ND, SD, MN, WI, IL, IA, NE, KS, MO, OK, AR, LA, TX).
  • Develop sales strategies to increase the opportunity pipeline.
  • Consistently meet/exceed sales quotas.
  • Partner with Canvas Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Solutions Engineers and other team members to work with customers in a collaborative and consultative manner.
  • Participate in industry events to develop sales opportunities and personal professional development
  • Provide education and training about Canvas products.
  • Introduce and establish business with new and existing customers.
  • Here is what you need to know/have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 + years of proven sales experience.
  • Must understand educational technology and the LMS landscape
  • Experience with Badging/Microcrentialing Initiatives in Higher Education
  • Experience selling enterprise level software, SaaS sales and services.
  • Experience selling at all levels, including “C” level and above.
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development.
  • Travel required
