Job Summary:

The HR Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting the HR team in managing and improving HR processes and operations. This remote role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, ensuring efficient processing of HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, and reporting. As an HR Operations Administrator, you will help create a seamless HR experience for employees while supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, and supporting recruitment activities.
  • Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and new employees are set up for success.
  • Process and track HR transactions, including benefits administration, payroll inquiries, and other HR-related requests.
  • Work closely with HR leadership to support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with data entry, maintaining HR databases, and preparing HR reports as needed.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and ensure all mandatory compliance training is completed.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including handling employee inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and keep the team updated on any changes.
  • Manage the HR systems and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR administration, HR operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, with exposure to HR operations and support.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR tools preferred.
  • Prior experience in data entry, payroll, benefits administration, or recruitment is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time remote position with flexible working hours.
  • Core hours are between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on team needs.

  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Abilities: Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters.
