BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is looking for a dynamic and driven Wellness Coordinator to join our team! As the Wellness Coordinator, you will be a critical part of our organization, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs to promote the health and wellness of our employees. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong commitment to health and wellbeing with a passion for the wellbeing of others. We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. You should also have a minimum of two years of experience in health promotion, wellness, or health education. Previous experience in program development and implementation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Responsibilities of the Wellness Coordinator: Develop, implement, and manage programs to promote the health and wellbeing of employees. Analyze employee health data and trends to develop and improve health and wellness programs. Research best practices in health and wellness to ensure programs are up to date and effective. Maintain records of employee participation in wellness programs and analyze outcomes. Plan and implement onsite health and wellness events and activities for employees. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure successful program implementation. Provide health education and health coaching to employees. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health and wellness programs. Develop and coordinate wellness initiatives to support organizational goals.
