Senior TRICARE Community Liaison

About the position The Senior TRICARE Community Liaison (TCL) is a customer-facing role at Humana Military, responsible for fostering strong relationships with TRICARE beneficiaries, Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) staff, and healthcare providers. This position focuses on ensuring understanding of the TRICARE health plan and navigating the Military Health System, while also supporting network operations and addressing complex inquiries. The Senior TCL operates within a designated geographic area, engaging with a large beneficiary population and various healthcare providers, and is expected to work during uncommon hours and travel for outreach activities. Responsibilities • Assist in developing and sustaining a high-performing network in designated PSAs/NSPAs to meet TRICARE and Humana Government Business requirements. , • Research and resolve complex TRICARE problems/issues elevated by Government agents, beneficiaries, or providers within required timelines. , • Respond to beneficiary, provider, and Government inquiries regarding TRICARE topics in a precise and timely manner. , • Conduct regular and ad hoc market assessments to determine the capability and capacity of TRICARE providers. , • Accomplish all administrative tasks as assigned, including documenting interactions and processing transactions. , • Participate in activities that promote well-being and professional growth of self and others. Requirements • Experience in customer relationship management with professional interactions. , • Experience in analyzing information and implementing solutions. , • Experience in healthcare provider relations. , • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. , • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships. , • Consultative skills to assess and understand consumer needs. , • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). , • Willingness to travel and work uncommon hours, with reliable transportation. , • Public-speaking ability. Nice-to-haves • 3 or more years of experience in TRICARE, including group presentations. , • Experience with TRICARE contracts and military healthcare delivery systems. , • Knowledge of TRICARE policies and benefits. , • Bachelor's degree. , • Prior experience in a medical office setting. , • Experience with medical claims/health insurance.
