Manager, Maternal Child Health & EPSDT

Applicants should reside within the state and have an active RN license or be a Physician's Assistant. This position will perform duties to conduct and manage the day-to-day operations of the maternal child health and EPSDT functions communicating with departmental and plan administrative staff to facilitate department functions. Position also has oversight of Quality-of-Care team and provides departmental communication of outcomes. Position Purpose: Perform duties to conduct and manage the day-to-day operations of the maternal child health and EPSDT functions communicating with departmental and plan administrative staff to facilitate department functions. Ensure receipt of maternal and postpartum care and EPSDT services for members Promote preventative health strategies and educate members on family planning services Identify and coordinate assistance for identified member needs for maternal/child health and EPSDT Promote compliance with federal and state regulations and contractual agreements. Facilitate on-going communication between case management staff, members, contracted providers, and subsidiaries. Develop staff skills and competencies through training and experience. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Health Services, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in related field preferred. 4+ years of clinical nursing or case management experience. License/Certification: Current state's RN license or Physician’s Assistant. Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ) preferred. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
