Experienced Video Editor - fully remote (m/f/d)

The Role We are on the lookout for an experienced Video Editor who is not only proficient in their craft but also passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating compelling video content for our social media channels, engaging video ads, and in-depth training videos for our suite of online courses. Offering the ultimate in flexibility, this role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from any location worldwide. Your Course - and what we expect from you • Creation of videos, video ads and tutorials for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube or TikTok) and online courses. • Creation of catchy motion graphics to make our videos more engaging. • Reviewing of video footage and compiling highlights. • Color grading of raw footage turning it in great looking videos. • Research of b-roll, background music and sound effects for our videos. • Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques and push the envelope for editing best practices. • Collaborate with creative stakeholders throughout the pre and post-production process. • Stay updated with current video trends. Your Equipment • At least 5 years of proven experience as a video editor. • At least 2 years experience in creating compelling videos and video ads for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube or TikTok) • Experience with motion grapic design (e.g. After Effects, Motion, Davinci Resolve, etc.). • Demonstrable video editing ability with a good portfolio. • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Davinci, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut) • Profound knowledge in color grading turning our raw footage in great looking videos. • Experience in optimizing the audio quality of the video. • Strong focus on detail and quality in your work • Excellent time-management and communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Creative mind and storytelling skills. • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
