The Managing Director Physician Engagement and Sales will lead a team focused on creating, leading and driving sales growth through physician engagement strategies that support Accredo and its patients and customers. The Managing Director will own the development and execution of broader physician sales strategy for Accredo Commercial. Will be responsible for developing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with existing and new physicians and hospital systems while focusing on high quality patient care. Leads Direct Sales and Account Management teams to ensure the success of growth plans and strategies for developing business growth. Leader will develop strong partnerships across Sales and Account Management, Product, Technology teams and other operational partners, as well as clients and vendors, to foster collaboration and ensure exceptional quality and efficiencies. This role is not eligible for sales incentive compensation (IC) although it will manage Direct Sales and Account Management individuals who are eligible for sales incentives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develop and execute a sales plan focused on physician engagement. Plan should be focused on development, prospecting while building a strong market presence; focused on collaborating with sales team to develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies to achieve financial commitments across Physician Engagement and 340B teams. • Partner with cross-functional leaders within Sales and Account Management, Product, Technology along with other Operational partners to develop and implement a cohesive Physician Engagement strategy for Accredo Commercial. • Effectively support, collaborate and interact with physicians and physician offices, clients and vendors to build relationships to drive new and existing partnership channels. • Partner closely with senior leadership on market strategies for overall growth and development. • Support sales and account management teams in meeting sales and organizational goals while managing, developing and retaining talent; meeting organizational succession and retention goals. QUALIFICATIONS: • 12-16 years relevant experience with 10+ years of leadership experience. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required. Advanced Degree or MBA desirable. • Strong financial, process and analytical acumen. • Enterprise thinker with proven ability to influence across a matrix environment. Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as externally. • Executive presence with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Comfortable dealing with and managing an ever changing, highly competitive industry/ environment. • Ability to analyze complex information and draw relevant conclusions. • Effective leadership with demonstrated ability to motivate people and teams while raising performance levels year over year. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 212,900 - 354,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
