HVAC & REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and be proficient in maintaining and repairing refrigeration units. This role requires a solid understanding of schematics and design, as well as hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems. If you are a motivated mechanic with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, we want to hear from you. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components. • Troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose issues. • Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration units. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all work performed. • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex projects effectively. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly. Qualifications • Proven experience in HVAC or HVAC/R systems, particularly with ammonia refrigeration. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to plumb and install various components. • Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is essential. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Relevant certifications in refrigeration or HVAC are preferred but not mandatory. • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
