HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

Include: • Install, test, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration units. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. • Replace filters, clean coils, and perform other necessary maintenance tasks to extend the life of HVAC systems. • Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues. • Provide accurate troubleshooting reports and determine the root cause of system failures. • Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats. • Communicate effectively with customers to explain HVAC issues, repairs, and recommendations. • Provide advice and guidance to customers on energy-saving tips, system upgrades, and maintenance best practices. • Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner. • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards when working with HVAC equipment. • Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and hours worked. • Work with other team members and departments as needed for large-scale installations or service projects. • Assist in training apprentices or less experienced technicians as needed.
