About the position Blackhawk Digital Marketing is seeking a talented SEO Copywriter to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year. As an SEO Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and engaging copy that resonates with our target audience while aligning with our SEO strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality, optimized content that drives organic traffic to our website and enhances our search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will be a clear thinker, action-driven, and results-oriented. You should possess a self-driven attitude, be client-focused, and exhibit creativity in your writing. A strategic mindset is essential, along with strong website management, research, and copywriting skills. You will be expected to speak confidently about search engine optimization, including understanding how Google ranks websites and implementing on-site, local, and technical SEO strategies. In this role, you will produce a wide range of content, including website copy, blog posts, articles, product descriptions, social media posts, and email campaigns, all while incorporating relevant keywords and adhering to SEO best practices. You will also conduct keyword research to identify and analyze relevant keywords and search trends that will inform your content creation strategy. Collaboration with the marketing team is key to ensuring that all copy aligns with our brand voice and messaging. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze content performance by tracking key metrics such as organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversions to measure the effectiveness of your content and identify areas for improvement. Staying up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and industry best practices will be essential to ensure that our content remains optimized and effective. Requirements • Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in a digital marketing or SEO environment. , • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. , • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. , • Ability to conduct thorough keyword research. , • Experience using content management systems (CMS). , • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools. , • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. , • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred.
