Automated Test Equipment Engineer - Early Career - Dallas, TX

Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking for a Production Test Engineer to support Production Test Engineering activities for various lines of missiles and rockets in Dallas, TX. This position requires integration, testing and fielding of software/hardware for automated test sets supporting production of various missiles and rockets. Candidate must have a basic understanding of electronics testing methods and possess knowledge of industry wide tests and testing equipment. Produces test engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Ability to perform root cause analysis of failure on UUT (unit under test) or Test Set independently and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Candidate possess excellent communication skills, efficient in collaborating with multiple cross functional teams, comfortable briefing to LM senior leadership and United States Government customer. This position is expected to work under minimum general direction. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
