The Medical Equipment Technician II provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor. What You Will Do

In This Role • Conduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc. • Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. • Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc. What You Will Need For This Role • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Proficiency in both movable medical equipment (MME) and patient handling equipment (PHE). • Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction. • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies. • Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for servicing medical devices. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule. • Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs. • The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds. • The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
