Position: Certified Medical Assistant Location: Tallahassee, FL Schedule: Full-time / Part-time Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians, chiropractors, and other medical professionals with patient care Obtain vital signs, patient history, and document information in electronic medical records (EMR) Prepare examination rooms and ensure a clean, organized environment Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care (if applicable) Educate patients on procedures, medications, and post-visit care Assist with scheduling, prior authorizations, and medical documentation Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required One or more years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred Experience in orthopedics, pain management, or chiropractic care is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient-care skills Proficiency in EMR systems and medical terminology What We Offer: Competitive pay and performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k) Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunities for professional development and career growth A supportive team environment committed to patient-centered care Ready to make a difference?
