Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Performs a variety of skilled, technical, and maintenance work including plumbing and carpentry. This class works according to set procedures under minimal supervision. Position requires an advanced understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in assigned function or business area. Assists in the implementation of a comprehensive park facility and grounds maintenance program by completing skilled maintenance and repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry systems, and equipment. Five (5) or more years? progressive experience in facility maintenance, preferably 2 (two) or more years leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have a valid Florida driver?s license with a satisfactory driving record throughout employment. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
