Production Assembler (Day shift -Part time)

We are actively seeking a part-time General Assembler (25-30 hours per week) to join our team at the State College office. As a fast-growing international high-tech company, we specialize in providing high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for the inspection of critical components. Your Daily Life: While the daily duties and responsibilities of a General Assembler may vary depending on the manufacturing field, they typically include interpreting assembly instructions and operating various tools. The ideal candidate should be a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments. In This Role, You Will: ? Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering drawings and technical terms ? Discern quality of parts and materials used in production ? Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process ? Follow company procedures and directives ? Test finished products for defects ? General labor duties as assigned ? Maintain the tools used to create products ? Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace What We?re Looking For: ? Must have a high level of detail ? Manual dexterity while handling small, intricate parts and using hand tools ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings ? Quality awareness and adherence to high standard of quality in all work ? Safety awareness ? Ability to measure with accuracy ? Understanding of assembly process and ability to follow all processes and procedures What We?re Looking For: ? Candidate interested in working 25 to 30 hours per week. ? High School Diploma, or equivalent ? One (1) year experience with detail oriented work using hand tools ? Mechanical and technical skills ? Safety management mindset ? Focus on quality control ?
