A Macayo Bartender is responsible for providing Engaged Guest Service and consistently delivering a quality product. Engaged Service is crucial to the success of Macayo. Responsibilities: ? Welcome everyone with respect and treat them the way you wish to be treated. ? Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude, write the order down, repeat the order to the guests, enter POS system correctly. ? Prepare all beverages based on the recipes and serving sizes as outlined in the Macayo Bartender Manual; to ensure accurate flavor profile and to keep costs at a minimum. ? Use proper tools and techniques in preparing daily prep ingredients and beverages. ? Abide by all Arizona, Federal and Macayo liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. ? Keep bar area clean in accordance with Macayo guidelines as well as the requirements of the Health Department. ? Maintain high levels of accountability with all cash handling and check processing practices. ? Ensure that all orders are accurate and served to each table in a timely manner. ? Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the guests at the bar, in the dining room and on the patio satisfied at all times. ? Ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest, assisting teammates in accomplishing this when necessary. ? Have and maintain a complete knowledge of all food and beverage items. ? Take beverage orders from guests or servers and serving drinks as requested; paying extreme attention to details and any modifications requested. ? Be a Team Player, with the ability to execute responsibilities within a fast paced, team environment. ? Ability to stand, walk and carry food trays with two hands for prolonged periods of time.
