Interaction Designer, YouTube, Shorts Creation Mid Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. • 4 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX). • Experience in designing across multiple platforms, working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes. • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. • Experience in Video Content Creation Ecosystem (e.g., Short-form, Long-form, Podcast, Live). • Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies related to media creation. • Experience in establishing or evolving design systems. • Knowledge of new technology with excellent problem-solving skills. • Excellent skills in prototyping using Figma or Protopie. Responsibilities • Motivate User Experience (UX) design for YouTube Shorts creation tools. • Articulate user journeys with scenarios, storyboards and presentations, low and high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas. • Contribute to goals and strategy, generating buy-in and operationalizing the strategy across teams. • Partner with various product teams to align on product solutions across creation surfaces on YouTube. • Collaborate with Creation User Experience (UX) teams to ensure experience for creators on YouTube.
