About the position The Flexible Part-Time Social Media Scheduler is a remote position responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing social media content across various platforms. This role is crucial for maintaining active and engaging social media channels for clients, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives through effective communication with the Project Manager and marketing strategist.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage social media content calendars for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate posting including graphics, content, hashtags, links, etc.

  • Schedule and post content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google My Business, Pinterest, etc).

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the quality and relevance of social media posts.

  • Respond to social media inquiries and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.

  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance scheduling efficiency.

  • Understand the client's culture and create content that aligns with their brand and messaging.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Scheduler, Social Media Manager, or similar role is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Google Suite products) and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

  • Understanding ChatGPT and the importance of creating your own content—not heavily relying on AI resources—is key.
