Looking for a Video Guru – Focus on Watch Time & Retention (German Content) I’m looking for a skilled and creative video editor/creator/strategist who understands how to create videos that keep viewers engaged from start to finish. The goal: High Watch Time and Retention Rates Language: German (the content is for a German-speaking audience) What I’m looking for:
- Proven experience with YouTube optimization, retention strategies, hooks, and storytelling
- A great sense for structure, pacing, and flow
- You know how to design content that keeps people watching – from the first seconds to the final call to action
- Comfortable working with any major video editing tools (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, etc.)
- Bonus: experience with thumbnails and title optimization
What the job involves:
- Helping with the planning and execution of video content (YouTube, Shorts, maybe Reels)
- Optimizing scripts or raw footage to improve viewer retention
- Full video editing, including text overlays, music, sound effects, stock footage if needed
- A strong focus on creating high-engagement, well-structured videos with a professional yet entertaining feel
Language:
- German is a must – native speaker or near-native proficiency required
