Edge Delta SME - Remote About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Edge Delta SME to lead a critical data migration and optimization project for a key client. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of their security and operations infrastructure. The initial phase focuses on migrating and ingesting a substantial volume of data (50TB daily, scaling to 100TB) from various sources, primarily leveraging Edge Delta to replace their existing Splunk data flow. Subsequent phases will involve automation, migration to a new data lake, and potentially replacing Splunk entirely. Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of Edge Delta within the client's environment.
• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data (50TB initially, scaling to 100TB) from diverse sources.
• Migrate existing data flows from Splunk to Edge Delta, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
• Configure Edge Delta to seamlessly integrate with various repositories and the client's current Splunk SIEM.
• Collaborate closely with the client's IT Ops team to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of future phases, including data lake migration and potential Splunk replacement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Edge Delta implementation and data flow.
• Document all configurations, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Edge Delta Expertise: Extensive experience implementing, managing, and optimizing Edge Delta deployments. Deep understanding of Edge Delta architecture, data ingestion, processing, and integration capabilities.
• Splunk Expertise: Strong knowledge of Splunk, including data ingestion, search, reporting, and dashboard creation. Experience migrating data from Splunk is highly desirable.
• Sentinel One and/or Data Lake Expertise: Familiarity with Sentinel One and/or data lake technologies is a significant advantage, as these will be key components of future phases.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a remote environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with other SIEM and data analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
